The reader is taken through into the history of this particular university to get a better understanding of how they ended up with what has been described in the text as a melting pot of technologies. Examples of enterprise performance standards and a request for qualification (RFQ) used to identify qualified enterprise management system contractors. The chapter identifies the tools and concepts used to build and design an enterprise management system.
