| Description | The heat capacities of $BaM(M=U,Zr)O_{3}$ have been determined from experimental data obtained using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) in a high purity argon atmosphe re. The samples for these investigations were prepared from sintered pellets. The pellets of $BaMO_{3}$ were prepared by the mixing, reacting, pelletizing and sintering of $BaCO_{3}$ and $MO_{2}$powders. The X-ray diffraction measurements showed that all samples are single phase. The heat capacities of $BaU_{1-x}Zr_{x}O_{3}$ were determined by DSC. |
