| Description | Considering existed problems of support design in Jinchuan nickel mine, this paper probes into a method of reliability analysis of stability for support design of large span roadways in fractured stratum and in high stress field. First, failure features of fractured rock masses in high initial stress field are studied. Then, a model of reliability analysis based on shear sliding wedge theory is found. Finally, Rosenblueth's method is used to determine the reliability of stability of sliding wedges and some important conclusions are obtained.
