| Description | Contact interaction of bases and rigid bored pile foundations is numerically modeled in a spatial formulation when power and moment loads act upon them. The numerical algorithm developed permits performing the calculation of bored pile foundations according to base deformations taking into account the geometric shape and laying depth of the widening. It also permits investigation of stress-strain state of the base in an active foundation zone. The paper presents the calculation results permitting the evaluation of the influence of the widening and the cylindrical foundation bottom in transmitting loads from the structure to soil.
