Nevertheless, there are couple of challenges that include collection of reliable data as one of the important aspects in advancement of CAD. The progress in designing advanced image-capturing devices and efficient segmentation techniques is gradually providing usable insights to deal with the limitations. This chapter discusses the significance of computer-aided diagnosis in contemporary times and also discusses the future scope for its diversified applications.
