| Description | Building partnerships are pivotal to any sustainable development intervention. They enable different role players to create value together. They create opportunities to optimize synergies. However, partnership building can be challenging and is often complex. This chapter draws on extant literature and the author's extensive experience with building education technology partnerships. It highlights the most critical pain points in educational technology partnerships formation and what it takes to address them. It makes the point that partnerships fail, and fail often.
