Beginning with a discussion of what we know about citizen demand for performance information online and to what extent local governments are providing online, I propose a model of four stages of e-reporting, including case illustrations. Th e chapter concludes with a summary of best practices for those governments considering the adoption or improvement of e-reporting. |
