Description	This chapter offers an exploration of the role that mentoring plays in helping women navigate their professional and domestic realms. It presents a study that delves into the mentoring relationships of professional Indian women offers several insights. For many of the Indian women in this study, successfully managing the paradox inherent in the challenging dynamics of workforce participation and Indian cultural experience lies in their ability to develop strategies and tools that allow the successful synthesis of multiple identities across their familial/social and work lives. Broadly, the chapter explores the opportunities that mentoring offers to professional Indian women. It discusses the mentoring literature to acquaint readers with this developmental process that can be used as a tool to support professional Indian women in their career journeys.
