Description	This paper presents the use of technology and digitalization of education sector during the pandemic and the new normal after COVID-19. The education is one of the highest priority sectors that must not be interrupted by the pandemic. Digital technology relates to the internet connection has highly occupied in the last 6 months in Indonesia. The education has insisted immediately to use technology, especially online class meetings. Therefore, it is the critical time now for education, particularly in Indonesia to move forward involving digital technology. Not only to know and to use, but also capable of understanding and developing the technology-based innovation. Digitalization of university employs upgrading the infrastructure, developing ecosystem for digital education and research, digital services, and improving human resources. The organization structure of higher education also needs to change. Research center, innovation center, and triple helix collaboration are compulsory for higher education-based technology in the new normal era.
