Description	I have been an academic librarian for the past 20 years and have spent most of that time working in college and university libraries. Since I know I do not like routine and need to challenge myself to stay engaged,I have sought various renewal opportunities over time. I have performed a variety of jobs from reference to collection development to director. I have served on technology, general education, and many other committees. I have served on local nonprofit boards where my research and knowledge management skills were used to meet the goals of the organization and where I have set up and/or maintained libraries and archives. I have edited, indexed, presented, published, reviewed, and translated. I have enjoyed taking classes in ceramics, sociology, and Spanish at the colleges where I have worked.
