NDLI: Palladium-Catalyzed Cycloaddition of Alkynes (RC≡CR′) with Dimethylgermylene

Description	The cycloaddition of alkynes with free singlet dimethylgermylene catalyzed by tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)-palladium(0) leads regioselectively in high yield to new 1-germacyclopenta-2,4-dienes, 1,4-digermacyclohexa-2,5-dienes, and 1-oxa-2-germacyclopent-3-enes with an exocyclic double bond. The latter yield, with acetic acid, quantitatively the substituted vinylgermyl acetates.
