| Description | A copper/silver-catalyzed decarboxylative trifluoromethylation of α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids with $CF_{3}SO_{2}$Na was performed under relatively mild conditions. The reaction shows high E/Z selectivity and wide substrate tolerance. $Ag_{2}CO_{3}$ plays an important role in promoting the decarboxylation process. |
