| Description | The article focuses on a study which examined the relationship between job satisfaction and life satisfaction in a multivariate context. The study indicated that job satisfaction and working conditions contributed little to the variance that can be explained in life satisfaction. Working/living conditions had a cross-domain spillover effect. Working conditions influenced nonwork satisfaction significantly, and living conditions were significantly related to job satisfaction. Job satisfaction accounted for more variance in life satisfaction than did working conditions. Family satisfaction also accounted for more variance in life satisfaction than did living conditions. |
