| Abstract | The effects of ammonia concentration on the removal of NOx in a combustion flue gas by superimposing barrier discharge plasma reactors are experimentally investigated. The experiments are conducted for the applied voltages from 0 to 24 kV, the flue rates from 0.5 to 2 L/min and ammonia mixture concentration from 0.7 to 1.2 stoichiometry. The results show that NOx removal increases with increasing discharge power, gas flow rates, and ammonia mixture concentration. NOx removal energy efficiency increases with increasing ammonia mixture concentration and gas flow rates, and decreases with increasing discharge power. |
