| Abstract | This paper presents a comparative list of spiders collected in the 82 counties of Mississippi and in a random sampling of the spiders of Arkansas. The Mississippi list includes 26 families with 263 species, whereas the Arkansas collection includes 24 families with 206 species. Various methods of collecting were used in an effort to sample all populations and to contribute to knowledge of the taxonomy both Mississippi and Arkansas. |
