| Abstract | Single scattering events of 60 MeV I$sup 10+$ ins and Xe target atoms were observed to obtain cross sections for the loss of several electrons in a single collision. The experimental apparatus is described, and results are shown for charge state distributions at two Xe gas cell pressures and differential scattering cross sections for single collision electron removal at three different angles. 3 figures, 1 table (GHT) |
