| Abstract | This research aimed to find out correlation of Obesity with Self-Esteem in Nursing Department Students. This research conducted at Nursing Department of Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo in January 2019 to February 2019. This research was descriptive quantitative, with cross sectional research design. The population in this research were 37 obese students who were obese. Determination of samples using Total Sampling. The method of collecting data used a questionnaire. Data analysis in this research used the Chi-square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between obesity and self-esteem (p Value .014). Conclusion: there was a significant influence between obesity and self-esteem in nursing department students at Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo. |
