| Abstract | La neuroscience ouvre-t-elle réellement des pistes nouvelles pour améliorer l’éducation ? Ce rapport apporte une réponse non dénuée de complexité à cette question : oui, mais… Des éléments convergents confirment l’émergence d’une « neuroscience de l’éducation ». Les récentes avancées dans le domaine de la neuroscience ont considérablement augmenté la pertinence de ce champ disciplinaire pour l’éducation. Les technologies d’imagerie permettent désormais l’observation du cerveau en action, ouvrant ainsi la voie à une meilleure compréhension de ses fonctions cognitives et émotionnelles. Il va sans dire que l’éducation peut en tirer bénéfice. De plus, cette tendance à une plus grande applicabilité de la neuroscience en matière éducative est accompagnée par une réceptivité croissante de la part des sociétés du XXIe siècle. Le présent rapport entend présenter une synthèse de l’état de la recherche à l’intersection des neurosciences cognitives et des apprentissages, et mettre en lumière les implications politiques des résultats de la recherche pour la décennie à venir. Les récentes découvertes sont de nature à aider toutes les parties prenantes du monde de l’éducation – ce qui inclut apprenants, parents, enseignants et décideurs politiques – à mieux comprendre les processus efficaces en matière d’apprentissages, ainsi que les environnements qui leur sont liés. Une telle compréhension peut permettre aux décideurs de s’orienter vers des mesures plus et mieux informées, peut amener les parents à mettre en place un meilleur environnement d’apprentissage pour leurs enfants et aider les apprenants à choisir les approches les plus adaptées pour améliorer leurs compétences. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
