| Abstract | La crise mondiale touche la Nouvelle-Zélande alors qu’un processus d’ajustement intérieur difficile est en cours. Son économie est une des plus endettées de la zone OCDE. La baisse des prix des actifs et la diminution de la demande de crédit signifient qu’un processus de désendettement s’est amorcé. Néanmoins, des déficits de balance courante amples et persistants et une dette extérieure considérable rendent l’économie particulièrement vulnérable face à la crise financière et à la contraction de la demande au niveau mondial. L’économie était déjà en récession en 2008 et devrait le rester tout au long de l’année 2009, avant de ne se redresser qu’avec hésitation en 2010 sur fond de poursuite du processus massif de désendettement en cours. Bien que foncièrement saines, les banques ont contracté de nombreux emprunts à l’étranger, pour la plupart à court terme, et elles doivent s’adapter en diversifiant leurs sources de financement et en allongeant la durée de leurs emprunts. Les ménages, voyant leurs ressources diminuer et le chômage monter, commencent à relever leur taux d’épargne, qui avait atteint un point bas historique. Face à la contraction de la demande, à un environnement économique beaucoup plus incertain et au durcissement des conditions de financement, les entreprises réduisent leurs effectifs et leurs investissements. Ces éléments, conjugués à la forte dépréciation du taux de change en termes réels, devraient favoriser un transfert de ressources on ne peut plus nécessaire du secteur du logement et de la consommation vers les secteurs exportateurs au fil du temps. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
