Abstract La Corée est vigoureusement sortie de la récession mondiale de 2008 grâce au dynamisme de la croissance de ses exportations, alimentée par la dépréciation du won et la demande chinoise, ainsi qu’à la réaction efficace des pouvoirs publics. Le plan de relance budgétaire mis en oeuvre a été le plus ample de la zone OCDE, tandis que la politique monétaire et les mesures d’aide aux établissements financiers ont contribué à empêcher une crise de liquidité. La production devrait augmenter de 5¾ pour cent en 2010 et de 4¾ pour cent en 2011, la croissance à deux chiffres des exportations entraînant un renforcement de celle de la demande intérieure. La reprise étant bien engagée, les dépenses publiques sont réduites en 2010, ce qui est nécessaire pour que la Corée puisse atteindre son objectif à moyen terme de réduction du déficit budgétaire à un niveau proche de zéro d’ici à 2013 et de maintien de la dette brute des administrations publiques en deçà de 40 % du PIB. Par ailleurs, cela fait plus d’un an que le taux d’intérêt directeur est maintenu à un niveau exceptionnellement bas de 2 %. Compte tenu de la vigueur de l’expansion économique, il importe de commencer à normaliser les taux d’intérêt, afin que l’inflation demeure dans la fourchette de 2 % à 4 % retenue comme objectif à moyen terme par la banque centrale.

It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
