| Abstract | Avant la récession, le marché du travail islandais était l’un des plus solides de la zone OCDE. Les taux d’activité étaient élevés et le chômage extrêmement faible (en particulier le chômage de longue durée et le chômage des jeunes), à la faveur d’une économie en croissance rapide, d’une fiscalité du travail relativement légère et d’une main-d’œuvre hautement flexible. Et même si la profonde récession des deux dernières années l’a sérieusement affecté, ses performances en termes de chômage se situent désormais autour de la moyenne OCDE. Le gouvernement islandais a accru les programmes ciblés sur les jeunes et les chômeurs de longue durée, deux catégories qui autrement auraient une forte probabilité de rester sans emploi. De surcroît, en dehors du secteur de la construction, durement touché, il ne semble guère y avoir eu de déplacement sectoriel de la demande de main-d’œuvre. Ces caractéristiques, conjuguées à la persistance d’une fiscalité favorable et d’une main-d’œuvre flexible, donnent à penser que le marché du travail islandais est bien placé pour redémarrer fortement dès que la croissance économique repartira. Néanmoins, des ajustements des politiques du marché du travail, par le biais d’une refonte des stages à l’intention des chômeurs pour mieux répondre aux besoins du marché du travail, d’un élargissement des programmes de formation en cours d’emploi et d’une révision de la structure d’indemnisation du chômage, réduiraient le risque d’aggravation du chômage structurel et favoriseraient le retour à l’emploi en Islande |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
