Abstract	La croissance remarquable enregistrée par l'Irlande à compter du milieu des années 90 et dans les premières années du nouveau millénaire a permis une convergence rapide des niveaux de productivité avec la moyenne de l'UE et une progression exceptionnellement forte de l’emploi. Elle s’est aussi traduite par un relèvement des niveaux de vie. Entre 1995 et 2000, le PIB réel a augmenté en moyenne annuelle de près de 10 pour cent. Ce taux s'est fortement ralenti en 2001 pour revenir à 5.7 pour cent encore que, selon les estimations, il se soit maintenu à peu près ce niveau en 2002. La bonne tenue du PIB contraste ...
