Abstract Les performances économiques récentes de l’Espagne ont été remarquables, puisqu’elle est entrée en 2006 dans sa 13e année consécutive de croissance, ce qui correspond à l’une des plus longues périodes d’expansion soutenue de son histoire récente. Néanmoins, on relève des signes persistants de déséquilibres qui menacent de remettre en cause ces bonnes performances, encore que les données récentes dénotent une certaine amélioration. L’écart d’inflation par rapport au reste de la zone euro reste important, ce qui nuit à la compétitivité internationale de l’économie espagnole. Alimentées par la croissance vigoureuse de la consommation privée et de la construction de logements, les pressions de la demande intérieure se sont accentuées, contribuant au creusement du déficit des paiements courants. Il est indispensable de remédier à ces déséquilibres pour préserver les bonnes performances économiques réalisées dernièrement. Ce chapitre s’ouvre sur un examen du comportement récent de l’économie, avant de présenter des prévisions à court terme ainsi que les principaux risques qui les entourent. Le chapitre offre ensuite une analyse plus approfondie de la possible surévaluation du marché du logement et de l’évolution de l’écart d’inflation, avant de proposer un ensemble de recommandations pour aider les autorités à remédier aux problèmes évoqués.

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
