| Abstract | Grâce aux atouts internes du Canada et à des mesures publiques opportunes, la récession mondiale n’a provoqué que des dommages financiers et économiques limités. Dès l’amorce de la crise, les autorités sont intervenues énergiquement pour maintenir les flux de crédit, en particulier en faveur des ménages, si bien que les dépenses de consommation et l’investissement en logements ont affiché une remarquable résilience tout au long de la récession. En contrepartie l’endettement des ménages a augmenté rapidement. À la faveur des mesures de relance budgétaires, le rebond initial de l’activité a été très vigoureux, mais en raison de la hausse des taux d’intérêt les ménages pourraient être de plus en plus nombreux à connaître des difficultés. Avec le resserrement prévisible de la politique monétaire, le durcissement des conditions financières résultant du très net raffermissement de la devise, la disparition progressive des mesures de relance budgétaires et la poursuite probable du ralentissement de la croissance du crédit aux ménages, le rythme de la reprise va se modérer quelque peu dans les prochains trimestres. Une fois résorbés les excédents de capacité, le taux de croissance tendancielle de l’économie devrait être beaucoup plus bas à moyen terme qu’il ne l’a été dans le passé, car la transition démographique freine l’accroissement de la population d’âge actif. Les réformes structurelles visant à stimuler la croissance de la production potentielle devraient donc rester au premier rang des priorités des pouvoirs publics. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
