| Abstract | L’économie a continué a croître très rapidement, le PIB augmentant à un rythme proche de 10 % en 2005. La demande est alimentée par la poursuite de la progression des exportations et de l’investissement, sur fond de forte rentabilité des entreprises. L’indice des prix à la consommation a reculé de 2 %, la hausse des cours mondiaux du pétrole n’ayant pas été répercutée sur les consommateurs. La croissance des importations a ralenti, entraînant une augmentation marquée de l’excédent de la balance des opérations courantes qui a dépassé les 6 % du PIB. Avec des politiques budgétaire et monétaire étant proches de la neutralité et une monnaie dont l’appréciation devrait être modeste, la croissance devrait se poursuivre à un rythme soutenu, aux alentours de 10 %. Dans ce contexte, il est possible que l’excédent de la balance des opérations courantes ne recule que faiblement par rapport au PIB. Le nouveau budget met fortement l’accent sur l’amélioration des services publics dans les zones rurales, mais les conséquences en termes de dépenses paraissent relativement modestes et le déficit budgétaire reste modéré. Le nombre d’actions d’entreprises cotées appartenant à l’État pouvant être négociées est aujourd’hui plus important, ce qui améliore le fonctionnement du marché financier, mais il serait bon que davantage d’entreprises non cotées soient autorisées à entrer en bourse. Les taux d’intérêt devraient être plus largement utilisés pour stabiliser la demande et réduire le recours à des mesures quantitatives de contrôle du crédit ne reposant pas sur le marché, ce qui nécessite un flottement plus libre des taux de change. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
