Abstract	Pendant plusieurs campagnes, jusqu’à l’année de commercialisation 2003, les marchés internationaux du blé, des céréales secondaires et du riz se sont caractérisés par une production fortement déficitaire compte tenu de la hausse de la demande et de la diminution rapide des stocks mondiaux. Après des récoltes records et une augmentation des stocks en 2004, la situation mondiale de l’offre et de la demande a été relativement équilibrée en 2005. La production de blé et de céréales secondaires a légèrement décliné en 2005 par rapport à 2004, mais elle se maintient à un niveau élevé au regard des années passées (près de 620 millions de tonnes et 970 millions de tonnes , respectivement). Cette deuxième récolte satisfaisante en deux ans a résulté d’un accroissement des superficies dans le cas des céréales secondaires, mais aussi du maintien à un niveau élevé des rendements des deux types de culture. Sous l’effet de conditions météorologiques favorables, ces derniers n’ont que peu diminué en moyenne dans le monde par rapport aux niveaux atteints l’année précédente. Les présentes perspectives font l’hypothèse d’une augmentation des rendements de 1 % par an environ à l’échelle mondiale.
