Abstract	Partout dans la zone OCDE, les décideurs cherchent de nouveaux moyens de créer des emplois de qualité. La nature des emplois évolue, imposant aux travailleurs d’être de plus en plus attentifs à leur niveau de compétences pour pouvoir s’adapter aux changements à long terme du marché du travail. Les agences de l’emploi et les organismes de formation jouent un rôle essentiel en fournissant aux individus des compétences adaptées aux marchés du travail d’aujourd’hui et de demain. Le soutien à la création d’emplois nécessite de s’assurer que les compétences produites cadrent avec les compétences demandées par les apprenants et par les employeurs. Ce chapitre examine les nouvelles options dont disposent les pouvoirs publics pour faire mieux coïncider le système d’emploi et de formation avec les demandes des personnes et des employeurs.
