Abstract Le présent chapitre porte sur les politiques et les pratiques permettant, dans l’ensemble du système éducatif, d’assurer aux migrants une formation cohérente. Les examens par pays ont mis en lumière de nombreuses pratiques encourageantes à différents niveaux. Le défi consiste désormais à tirer des enseignements de ces pratiques et à les mettre en oeuvre à plus grande échelle. A cet égard, plusieurs éléments revêtent une importance cruciale : l’impulsion politique, des ressources suffisantes ainsi que des mesures d’incitation adéquates, la gestion des connaissances et des politiques clairement définies, étayées par des données concrètes solides. La première section du présent chapitre est consacrée aux politiques et pratiques intéressantes en ce qui concerne la gestion des variations et celle de la concentration d’élèves issus de l’immigration. Il est essentiel de veiller à ce que ces derniers bénéficient tous des mêmes chances, quel que soit l’établissement qu’ils fréquentent. La deuxième section, relative à la stratégie de financement, présente différentes approches pour la gestion des inégalités par le biais de financements axés sur des secteurs, des établissements scolaires ou des groupes d’élèves défavorisés, après examen minutieux des priorités éducatives. Enfin, la troisième section souligne l’importance du suivi et de l’évaluation, afin d’assurer la qualité de la formation des migrants. Cela suppose d’améliorer la qualité des données concernant les résultats et l’instauration de politiques efficaces, ainsi que de former des professionnels qui pourront ensuite exploiter utilement ces informations. Parvenir à combiner judicieusement ces trois aspects est essentiel à la bonne gestion du système, dont l’objectif consiste à offrir une formation de haute qualité aux élèves issus de l’immigration.

It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
