Abstract | This Letter documents BER performance analysis of orthogonal affine precoder (OAP)-based CDMA filter bank multi-carrier offset QAM (CDMA-FBMC/OQAM) systems. The use of OAP cancels the interference introduced by simultaneous transmission of data and training sequence during channel estimation and data detection. This makes the channel estimation and data detection more accurate and hence, BER performance is improved. BER is calculated for different power coefficients of the superimposed training sequence and is compared with that of other FBMC systems. It is observed that the proposed system outperforms the state-of-art FBMC systems from BER perspective. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
