Abstract	Wearable devices are experiencing a strong momentum. This leads to an ever increasing demand to ensure a stable link between the different nodes or sensor placed around the human body. In this sense, Body-Coupled Communication (BCC) has a high potential to support the development ofWireless Body-Area Networks (WBAN). This work characterizes, by mean of experiments, the intra-body propagation channels when a pair of differential electrodes is applied on a human head. This is necessary in order to investigate opportunities and drawbacks for a multitude of applications, e.g., binaural hearing instruments, as little has been done so far. Furthermore, a comparison to the typically investigated intra-body links is presented.
