NDLI: Studies on the Bioremediation Actions of 4-Chloroaniline on Wetland Soil

Abstract	Chloroanilines are toxic substances listed as typical pollutants of the environment. The photolysis in sunlight is a possible route for it elimination. The photolysis rate constant of p-chloroaniline (p-CA) in pure water and in wetland soil (C) was about 0.1059d-1 and 0.00298d-1 with a half-life was 6.55d and 232.58d. Degradation rate coefficient of p-CA in sterilized (A) and Non-sterilized (B) was0.008437 and 0.00346, degradation half-life was 830.39d and 200.32d. respectiverly, indicating that microorganisms would accelerate the the degradation of p-CA. A bacterium capable of growing with p-CA as sole carbon and energy sources was isolated from rhizosphere soil in phragmites wetland by enrichment culture method. The degradation temperature and pH value for degradation were about 30¿ and pH7.0, for 4d in minimal medium culture fluids at vaccination of 10%.
