NDLI: A Comparative Research of the Comprehensive Economic Strengths of the Five Coastal Provinces or Municipality

Abstract	Use the principal component analysis to appraise over the comprehensive economic strengths of the four coastal provinces named Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shandong, and Zhejiang and the municipality Shanghai, Three main components are extracted, the first stands for the total economy level, the second stands for the each province of industrial structure and level of activity, the third stands for quality of life and human culture education technology in economic growth role. Then ranks the five provinces three main component scores and their comprehensive score, Meanwhile, adopts TOPSIS method to carry on sorting the comprehensive evaluation score, principal component analysis and TOPSIS method for comparison, At last, conclusions are drawn and policy suggestions are put forward accordingly.
