| Abstract | In order to study the steady thermal stress and effect factors in a ceramic-FGM-metal composite ECBC plate under convective heat transfer boundary, the finite element analytical model for the composite plate was established. From numerical calculation, when ha=hb=1, T0=300K, Ta=550K and Tb=1 800K, the convective heat transfer steady thermal stress distributions in the plate under ECBC mechanical boundary were obtained and compared with those of the nongraded two-layered ceramic/metal composite plate. The numerical results show that with the increase of the FGM thickness, the stress distribution of the plate is more reasonable. With the increase of M, the change of the stress gradually becomes big in the FGM and ceramic layers. Compared with M =0.2, on the ceramic surface, the stress of M=5 reduces by 6.1%. Compared with the value of A =0, when A = 3.99, the stress on the metal surface reduces by 27.1%, and the stress on the surface of ceramics increases by 45.8%. Compared with ha=hb=1, when ha=hb=10, the stress on the metal surface reduces by 31.6%, and the stress on the ceramic surface increases by 58.5%. The thermal stress of ceramic-FGM-metal composite ECBC plate is very gentle and smooth. The results provide the foundations of theoretical calculation for the design and application of the composite plate. |
