| Abstract | Studying on the law of heat generation and transmission of the mini-automobile clutch friction, it is found that a single junction temperature rise of clutch friction plate is related to the friction power and characteristics of the friction pairs. Thus the assumption condition that appropriates to calculate the mini-automobile clutch friction plate surface temperature is proposed. A single bonding formula for calculating the average temperature of friction surface is built through the theoretical analysis of friction. The mathematical model is applied to a single engagement temperature calculation of the specific micro-clutch engagement. At the same time, a single engagement temperature is obtained by the bench test. The results show that the calculating value is good fit with the bench testing value. Thus it is proved that average surface temperature of the calculation method and mathematical model is indeed feasible. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
