Abstract | In this paper a computationally efficient Method of Moments (MoM) formulation for the analysis and evaluation of resonance characteristics of transverse wall round end slot coupled junction between two similar waveguides is presented. The junction has been analyzed for the three types of slots, namely the basic rectangular slot, rectangular slot with semicircular ends and rectangular slot with slightly curved ends. The computations are carried out for both types of round end slots and rectangular slots, coupling two similar WR-90 X-band rectangular waveguides and waveguides junction between WR-90 and WR-112 rectangular waveguides. Numerical results are presented for the variations of resonant length and the nondimensional Delta factor accounting for the differences in resonant length with slot width considering different thicknesses of the metallic wall. |

It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
