Abstract	This paper deals with the condition of stability and the control strategy for the discrete-time singular dynamic Leontief input-output model. A new mathematic method called linear matrix inequality is applied to the study of the singular dynamic input-output systems. With this tool, we need not convert singular systems into general systems. A sufficient stable condition under which the economic discrete-time singular input-output model is admissible is proved. Based on this, a new stabilization criterion is established by means of linear matrix inequality. Then the formula of a desired state feedback controller is easily derived.
