Abstract	The rapid growth of wireless networks and services, integrated with the next-generation mobile communication systems, has led to the era of the pervasive computing. The popularity of the lightweight portable computers with the growing demands of transmitting real-time multimedia applications over the wireless Internet provides strong motivations to the service providers to support not only seamless user mobility, but also continuous and seamless service provisions to the customers. We propose a mobile differentiated services architecture for next generation wireless networks based on the hierarchical mobile MPLS (H-MPLS). We also propose an extension to the current H-MPLS protocol and make it applicable to our architecture. This mobile differentiated services mechanism is applied to satisfy the QoS requirements of mobile users who subscribe services in their home domain and move into some other foreign domains. Hence, the mobile users could enjoy the continuous services without worrying about where they are. A series of simulations, with multimedia applications like video and voice, were performed to evaluate the proposed system.
