| Abstract | This paper focuses on reflection characteristics on rough surfaces in the millimeter wave (mm-wave). Reflection analysis was performed using Snell's law in the theory. But, millimeter wave spectrum has very short wave length. It is made an error in the prediction of wave propagation at the mm-wave band. To improve the prediction method of the reflection characteristics, we were studied using Kirchhoff approximation (KA) in the theory. And, their results compared with measurement results at the 60 GHz. Then, we were measured test samples to verify reflection characteristic estimation upon various rough surfaces. Finally, we were proposed the improved prediction method for the reflection characteristics at mm-wave band. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
