| Abstract | Induction characteristic of a solar cell to radiated electromagnetic disturbance has been studied experimentally and theoretically in order to clarify the antenna effect of the solar cell. First, we try to confirm the validity of the measurement method using the semi-anechoic chamber. The examination including the ground plane is necessary to specify about the emission standard of the entire photovoltaic generation system. We compared with the measurement and the calculation results for the radiation and the induction characteristics by using the dipole antenna of our own making, and the validity of the measurement and the calculation method was confirmed. Next, we measured the induced voltages of the PV cell actually used, and those are compared with each other. Finally, the calculated induction characteristic for the horizontal direction on the side face agrees with that measured. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
