NDLI: A Test-bed for the Convergence Services of TV with IP-based STB and Mobile Services in the IPbased network

Abstract	We have developed several experimental convergence services and a test-bed of TV with IP-based STB(IP_STB) and mobile services. Service operators have been struggling to find killer services that can create or find new service market especially in convergence sector in the current and next broadband networks. But, as you know, it is very difficult to forecast what service will be a killer service. In the convergence sector of TV with IP_STB and mobile services, we found a clue. In this paper, we introduce the new convergence services developed of TV with IP-based Set-Top-Box and mobile services (SMS/MMS and LBS service using mobile network). And we describe the details of them.
