Abstract	The term "home automation" commonly used a few years ago is no longer appropriate. Today, we use the term "home network" or "digital home" more than "home automation". While "Internet infra" is used in the home, Data Network Corporation, Communication Corporation, Electric Appliance Corporation and Home Automation Control System Corporation that have constructed a consortium currently have models on the home network market. Also, cellular phones have tried home networking by using not only the wired Internet, but also broadband wireless communication. Regardless of the many solutions to home networking that are being developed, few can be applied to real life because a standard protocol has not been developed. Therefore, we developed the home network system using USB (universal serial bus) that provides a standard protocol for home networking. The mobile USB home control system is expandable and portable. Also it provides a low cost and stable technology using an embedded system.
