| Abstract | Wireless 1394 over IEEE 802.15.3 must allow a data reserved for delivery over a wired 1394 network to be delivered over an IEEE 802.15.3 wireless network through bridging IEEE 1394 to IEEE 802.15.3. Isochronous transfers on the 1394 bus guarantee timely delivery of data. Specifically, isochronous transfers are scheduled by the bus so that they occur in every 125 mus and require clock time synchronization to complete the realtime data transfer. IEEE1394.1 and Protocol Adaptation Layer for IEEE1394 over IEEE802.15.3 specify clock time synchronization for a wired 1394 bus network and wireless 1394 nodes, which are IEEE 802.15.3 nodes handling 1394 applications, over IEEE 802.15.3. Thus, legacy clock time synchronizations are best fit for a homogeneous network environment like IEEE 1394 or IEEE 802.15.3 only. This paper proposes enhanced clock time synchronization method between IEEE 1394 and IEEE 802.15.3. In legacy synchronization between IEEE 1394 and IEEE 802.15.3, one of wireless 1394 bridge portals has to be wireless 1394 coordinator for IEEE802.15.3 network, but ,in an enhanced method, one of wireless 1394 bridge portals doesn't have to be wireless 1394 coordinator. Any node within IEEE802.15.3 network side can be wireless 1394 coordinator. This may improve network flexibility effectively because the location of wireless 1394 coordinator dose not to be fixed. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
