| Abstract | This paper describes a head mounted display that can present images with high reality. The head mounted display (HMD) is often used on tele-robotics systems as visual presentation equipment. In such a tele-robotics system, an operator works on the basis of visual information presented by the HMD. In order to work precisely, high reality images are demanded. In order to present high reality images, a wide view angle and high resolution images need to be presented. But in conventional HMDs the field of view is narrow or the resolution is low, because of the restriction of the scanning line of a display. For that reason, the usage is limited. In order to solve those problems, we are developing the eye movement tracking type HMD (EMT-HMD) that can present the wide view angle and high resolution images of the environment although conventional displays are used. The principle is that a small image of high resolution is present in a narrow range of view point and present a wide image of low resolution in the perimeter by using two displays. In this paper, we examine a system which tracks the movement of eyes in a two dimensional range. The structure of a trial production system is explained. Also some evaluation experiments are introduced. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
