Abstract	How to improve the efficiency of animation production and reduce the difficulties of animation development have become core issues in research on animation technology. By the analysis of existing animation design technology, three main processes of animation design have been improved: model design, preservation and rendering. Instead of individual modeling, the reconfigurable model design algorithm has been used. In order to preserve efficiently, the common characteristic of a class of things have been picked up to model in class level, then the model should be divided into several modules. Abstraction on the basis of gene sequences makes new model can be generated by dynamic adjustment. Reconfigurable model design algorithm based on gene sequence can improve the efficiency of model design, simplify the variable quantity of data information, and reduce the space consumption of storage.
