| Abstract | The idea of this project is based on the wish to give future medical students a good access to the complexity of the magnetic resonance imaging. We developed a Virtual Tutor for a MR scanner for students in education and doctors in training. We set, different tissue parameters like white matter, gray matter, csf, fat, edema and cystic fluid and, the intensity of tissues. The simulator has two distinct phases. The training phase, where students try to set the parameters TR and TE to obtain a good contrast the desired image while the virtual tutor will inform its proximity to the ideal solution in mode supervised learning. The performance is available, based in fuzzy logic groups for each participant. The test phase, where they are given challenges generated by random variation of the parameters characteristic of different organic tissues, and students will have to provide the best setting possible TR and TE to acquire an image of resonance with the best best possible contrast. What can we conclude with the first test is that a good result is possible only if the student fully understand the behavior of different tissues when exposed to a particular sequence of magnetic resonance. Thus, we think we can contribute to a more easy and quick learning techniques MRI. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
