| Abstract | The introduction of Microsoft Kinect has proved to be magical for the development community. Its unique and accurate depth sensing capabilities opens up the prospects for the creation of large amounts of rich applications that utilize the real-time input from the environment. Considerable amount of progress has thus taken place in 3D processing. Despite the enormous amount of work done, there is still a need for the most basic form of 3D processing i.e. drawing. This is where our prototype comes in. It enables its users to model 3D objects in real-time using he gestures of their hands and give a visual form to their imagination and artistic skills. Also it enables users to make use of primitive objects and thus enhance created objects. Its novelty lies in the fact that it allows users to draw in 3D, in real-time, using their own hands and with minimal effort. This sort of work is not only rare as of now but also not much advancement has been made in this field. The added bonus here is that these functionalities are being created as a plugin for AutoCAD which allows us to use the many features present in it for interacting with 3D objects. Also the ability to remotely share your creations with remotely located users in real-time is a first. It opens up a gateway for collaborative interaction between users using the common platform. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
