| Abstract | In this paper we would like to introduce a new theoretical approach for modeling an efficient digital modulation that can be used in many areas of the electrical engineering emphasis. By taking into account not only some of its intrinsic characteristics but also the very fast speed which can occurs in the numerical process of convergence for the response of the system, we can attribute for this new approach the name of Rise Time Modulation (RTM). A comparison with a well-known classic process to generate digital pulses introduced by Nyquist, which permit us to use this new technological technique for the modeling of any digital pulse and with a great accuracy in the numerical approach. The RTM pulse here introduced is a result of the proper manipulation over the parameters of the main operator, and it is important to emphasize that this does not require the usage of any passive or digital filters. In addition, the authors believe that this approach for digital modulation can provide a fundamental reference for what could be the 4th parameter available for modulation, side by side with the standard and principal ones: phase, amplitude and frequency. As one of our essential purpose we are strongly focused in to present a new theoretical concept used for all digital systems that have rigorous requirements with respect to their very fast time of response. The methodology here adopted has its main foundations built over the well-known approach of the roll off effect inserted in the theory of the Nyquist pulses, with direct application in the field of the telecommunication industries. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
