| Abstract | Drain heat utilization system is a key part of energy saving for the thermal system. The partial analysis models of drain heat utilization with traditional Equivalent Enthalpy Drop Method (EEDM) based a different basis, and the algorithms are not well comprehensive. Based on the research on integrated mixing heater and through the mathematical derivation, the paper presented a consistent and comprehensive partial quantitative analysis model of drain heat utilization with the definition of mixing heater; the model is simple for analysis and easy to understand. The regular and meaning of the correction term in traditional EEDM was not presented, in the process of the above research, the algorithm of partial correction was presented with the partial analysis model of drain heat recovering. The extraction steam efficiency of changed condition should be used in the model when extraction steam efficiency changed that caused by the changes of thermal system structure or heater parameter. The correction algorithm is common and highly accurate and consummates the partial analysis model of EEDM. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
