Abstract	Because of prosperous social economies, along with the increase in people's income, consumers now prefer to buy new products. The electronic and electrical industry has reduced the products' lifespan, so there has been an increase in waste, which in turn affects global ecology and the environment. The industry is now becoming greener in response to global warming and the impact on the environment. It is also making global consumers more aware of the need for environmental protection. Also, in July 2006 the European Union created the RoHS, WEEE, EuP, EuE, IPP, REACH and the CE Marking etc. This project will have a great effect Taiwan's electronic and electrical industry.
