| Abstract | A series of experiments of pool boiling are carried out and many groups of experimental data are obtained at different heat flux and magnetic strength. The results show that the greater magnetic strength is, the temperature rising rate of the sample increase appreciably with the magnetic field, and the longer the magnetization time is, that of the sample increases faster. The specific heat capacity of the water and oil and the viscosity of oil are decreased greatly. It is important for the area of energy engineering that magnetic field can intensify boiling. In order to analysis the thermal conduction disciplinarian of oil and water under the effect of magnetic field, the thermal conduction characteristics of oil and water without magnetic field is also contrasted. The research lays a foundation on exploring the mechanism of magnetic field enhancing boiling heat transfer and its practical application in engineering. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
